Help us help others!
Webster's 5th annual Webster Wolverines Turkey Trot & Food Drive kicks off on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 and runs through Tuesday, November 23, 2021! On the last day of the collection, the student body does a quick “trot” around the parking lot with the donated items while loading up the bins. The bins are then taken to Family Sharing of Ozaukee County to help reduce hunger in our community. This event fits in perfectly with our RISE character trait for November: Gratefulness!
Our goal is to collect 1,500 items (approximately 3 per kid) to be donated to local shelters during the school day from November 16th through the 23rd. Items should be brought to the stage in the Commons and placed in your child's grade level's designated area. While all non-perishable items are appreciated, most requested items include:
Spaghetti and egg noodles
Pasta and rice sides
Courtesy of the PTO, chocolate milk and donut holes will be served on Nov 23!
Allergy Note: The milk is from Kemps and the donut holes are from Dunkin’ Donuts. Please be advised that any of their products may contain, or may have come in contact with, allergens including eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, shellfish, soy, tree nuts and wheat. Please email email@example.com if you would prefer an alternate treat due to allergy concerns.
Thank you for your participation!
Thank you to all who helped us make Staff Appreciation Week a fun celebration for the great teachers and staff at Webster! Your support and contributions allowed us to treat the staff to two lunches - Jimmy Johns on Monday and Qdoba for Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, plus sweet treat platters on Friday. The winners of the fun themed raffle baskets are below, and on Friday everyone was also treated to a $10 Starbucks gift card! We were delighted to be able to shower the staff with treats and surprised throughout the week - they're always amazing, but they've gone above and beyond year in particular. Thanks, Webster team!!!
